A suffocating gray;
hangs over our heads
and covers our hearts.
Looking for color;
no matter how small
to which hope clings.
A brilliant light;
shines into the dark
of our battered hearts.
May it chase away;
the empty cold sadness
of the suffocating gray.

Ohhhhh, that is very grey. Where is it?

It is along the road I drive every morning to work. Just another gray day in the Pacific Northwest, enhanced a little bit on the computer. 🙂

Ohhhhhh, yes. I’m originally from Vancouver, Canada, so I can relate. It can really get grey along the pacific coast, can’t it?
