I was recently challenged to write a poem about love in only ten lines with the word love in each line. Well, I challenged the members of the Creative Writing Strategy group that I am part of at work (we meet every other week during the lunch hour to support and encourage one another), to do the same. Over the next few weeks I will be featuring each member who submitted a poem. So without further ado here is the first by Lin.

They call me Love.
Sends me love daily.
Tiny messages of love.
Love in emoticon hearts.
Their lips give love;
My lips needing love.
Love grazing against skin,
Lingering love through fingerprints.
Whispering insecurities ask: love?
Reprieving love; creating hope.
