What I fear and desire most in the world is God.
I fear Him because He promises to be spontaneous, out of my control, unnamed beyond my reasonable self.
I desire Him because God has color, like the fire that burns hot.
He is not pale, He is not neutral.
His light reveals the darkness of my heart.

Love this line: He is not pale, He is not neutral. Thank goodness. The world would be void of beauty & hopelessly one deminsonal. Thanks for the beautiful & thought provoking imagery as usual.
God is … all that & more. So much that our minds cannot fathom. Thanks for stopping by and commenting Shawn!
God does have a color and what a beautiful color it is! He is not tame, but He is good indeed! Love this!
Thanks! Trying to accept the wildness and freedom of God is not easy. We try so hard to tame him, don’t we.
Indeed we do!
Thank-you for sharing such thoughtful words, Mark. I believe God sends us much love each day xx
Absolutely, we just often tend to miss it until it smacks in the face.
How moving, Mark! Truly beautiful thoughts 🙂
Thank you so much!
