In the distance, …
Feel the pull of the long forgotten.
Down the path, …
Beckons the memories of yesterday.
To go back, …
And be welcomed to start again.

Walking the Path

The PathI hold a vision, from here to there
Where I can see, things of memory
The path lays before me, shining crystal clear
As shadows dance, silently on the fringe
Overcome by desires, that scamper quickly away
While standing still, falls a single rolling tear
One small drop, that holds all my fears
A haunting serenade, redemptive love infringes
Beckons a safe passage, to another world
Where angels play, beyond the undiscovered
Grace reaches softly, no heart left untouched
The broken places, cracks desperately patched
This is where the light, shines into the pain
A question wells up within, as deep calls to deep
How do I ever get, from here to there?

If you could have seen the end from the beginning would you have chosen a different path? ~M

If we were allowed to see the pain mixed with the happiness that life would throw at us because of our choices would that change the choices we would make?  I know some of my experiences are not what I would have chosen, but this is my life’s path and I would not change a thing.  Life is found in both the moments of joy and the sorrow.  What are your thoughts?
