God, Poetry

God in the Storm

Let the winds blow harder,
Let the rain fall faster,
Let the lightning slice the darkness,
And let the thunder crash the silence.
In the chaos and fury.
In the sound and passion.
In the strength and tempest.
Let yourself feel the power,
Let yourself hear my voice,
Let yourself know in the midst,
And let yourself believe that I am,
God in the storm.

New Chapters

New ChaptersI believe in magic
And deeper mystery
Of love
Romance
And adventure

I believe in healing
And grace unveiled
Of hope
Restoration
And transcendence

I believe in dreams
And holy revelations
Of pain
Sorrows
And shadows

I believe in light
And not fearing
Of death
Destruction
And darkness

I believe in firsts
And new beginnings
Of heaven
Salvation
And eternity
