So what is a grief campfire?
By design my Grief Campfires are influenced by my faith in Yeshua and guided by the bible verse, Job 2:13. My desire is to create, hold and offer space for people experiencing grief.
A Grief Campfire is 15-20 minutes of silent friendship in a virtual setting, (a brief reading may be offered for reflection). Each session is free and you are always invited.

What can you expect during our short, yet powerful time together?
- We share 15-20 minutes of silence.
- We step out of the frenzy of the world.
- We remember and reflect on our loss(‘s).
- We ask God simple questions if led to do so.
- We listen for answers in God’s still small voice.
- We hold space for each other and our memories.
- We come away knowing that we are not alone in our grief.
You are always welcome no matter the cause of grief be it related,
- to a death,
- the loss of a dream,
- a relationship ending,
- the state of our world,
- or even the trade-off of one wonderful option for another.
The silence allows participants to make the space whatever they need it to be, and to avoid any situations like unplanned group “therapy.” The short time also makes them more accessible, even people at work may attend a Campfire during a break.
- I emphasize they are silent spaces of shared togetherness.
- You are not required nor expected to turn on your camera or to speak.
Mark your calendar now.
You are worth 15 minutes!
Your grief is always welcome.
Only my camera and audio will be utilized, so come as you are.
I pray you will join in and find space for yourself, because you matter and your grief matters.
~God bless, Mark
