Thanks for asking. That is a photo of my grandfather circa the 1930’s we think. He was a cowboy and his blood runs strong through my veins. I am trying hard to keep this family tradition alive. I ride and my daughter does as well.
Wonderful! You can see in the photo how comfortable he looks with the horse. Great that you’ve kept up the tradition, too. It’s one of those things I wish I could do (like skiing) because it looks to be thrilling, but I know I never will (animal’s too big and powerful for my comfort level).
Just have to start slow and be respectful. They are very powerful animals.
