fwf1And how could we endure to live and let time simply pass if we were always crying and yearning for those days seemingly lost to the past to come back?
If we did then how would we know that every day in a life fills the whole of life with expectation, memories and gratitude and that these are those days.
Gratitude gives.
Gratitude does.
Gratitude lives.
In our hearts and minds, yet often is so hard to find.  We stumble, we fall, we search , we crawl and then we sometimes say, “dammit all!”  For yesterday’s are gone, vanished like the mist.  Forever lost to eternity forever to be missed.  But then within our dark, today shines a light into our hearts.  Around lives and breathes, the wonders and glory of all we need.  A soul is compelled to say thank you and for beyond what we do.  A precious love from above that towards us moves and forever we should express our sincerest heartfelt gratitude.

  1. Boy, that first stanza really hit hard. As I am too often living in the past. This piece…and everyone else’s seemed to lay on my heart in some way or another. I feel like someone is trying to tell me something. 🙂
