Junction of Rhone and Arve rivers in Geneva, Switzerland

the torrents of light and dark

from the surface boundaries set

but down below the battle ensues

a war leaves none unharmed

swirling dark and light collide

washing over the hearts of man

following the path of least resistance

the water courses demanding choices

is it the ying and yang

a little of both is what resides

in each human soul and heart

the facade that all present

appearing to be true and steadfast

not choosing the black or white

but under the surface dwells

all that is forever only gray
