As Halloween approaches how would you finish this sentence?

  • Scary/Suspenseful?It was a dark and stormy night and the moonlight glistened off the metal knife edge stained with blood as his breath came in raged gasps.
  • Humorous/Funny?It was a dark and stormy night but the whipped cream and chocolate pie stains around his mouth were the only evidence left behind from his midnight refrigerator raid.
  • Peaceful/Contented?It was a dark and stormy night but the warmth of the crackling fire cast a peaceful glow across the room as she stared at the pictures in the photo album in her lap, remembering the past and the smiles that had left all too soon.
